Detecting Representation Isomorphism Through Twisted Spectra

چکیده

Abstract In this chapter, we give a spectral characterisation of isomorphism induced representations. We also discuss strong isospectrality in the sense Pesce (which, by result Sunada, is implied weak conjugacy subgroups), an illustrative example lens spaces due to Ikeda, and use first conjugacy.

Exploitable Isomorphism and Structural Representation

An interesting feature of some sets of representations is that their structure mirrors the structure of the items they represent. Founding an account of representational content on isomorphism, homomorphism or structural resemblance has proven elusive, however, largely because these relations are too liberal when the candidate structure over representational vehicles is unconstrained. Furthermo...

Thom Isomorphism and Push-forward Map in Twisted K-theory

We establish the Thom isomorphism in twisted K-theory for any real vector bundle and develop the push-forward map in twisted K-theory for any differentiable map f : X → Y (not necessarily K-oriented). The push-forward map generalizes the push-forward map in ordinary K-theory for any K-oriented map and the Atiyah-Singer index theorem of Dirac operators on Clifford modules. For D-branes satisfyin...

Twisted Poincaré Lemma and Twisted Čech-de Rham Isomorphism in case of Projective Line

This expression is, however, only valid locally, because ς is a multi-valued function. On the domain Ui defined as in figure 1 (which is homotopic to a punctured disc), the functions (1) can be defined single-valued. In this paper, we shall realize a single-valued solution by finding a successful integration path (which has been formulated as a regularization of paths by Aomoto[5].) One can cal...

Distributed Computation, the Twisted Isomorphism, and Auto-Poiesis

1 This paper presents a synchronization-based, multi-process computational model of anticipatory systems called the Phase Web. It describes a self-organizing paradigm that explicitly recognizes and exploits the existence of a boundary between inside and outside, accepts and exploits intentionality, and uses explicit self-reference to describe eg. auto-poiesis. The model explicitly connects comp...

Non determinism through type isomorphism

Several non-deterministic extensions to the λ -calculus have been proposed, e.g. [6, 7, 10–12, 24]. In these approaches, the parallel composition (sometimes called the must-convergent parallel composition) is such that if r and s are two λ -terms, the term r+ s (also written r ‖ s) represents the computation that runs either r or s non-deterministically. It is common to consider in these approa...
